How to setup 2 monitors on one computer?

What's the best/easiest/cheapest way to set up 2 monitors on a single computer?

1. There are video cards that have 2 monitor outputs and support 2 monitors. Get one and hook up 2 monitors. Right-click on the background, then select properties, click the settings tab. Here you should see two monitors, though the second isn't working yet. Select it on the screen and check the box "extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor" and you're good to go. Otherwise you can buy an inexpensive PCI-based video card, add it to your computer, hook a monitor to it and follow the above instructions to enable it. Hope that helped!
