Are there any retailers that discount Apple computers?

My son wants an Apple and I don't like the idea of paying more for the Apple than a Windows machine with the same computing power.

2. It's called not paying a hell of a lot more for a "mac" Build/Buy a pc, And then slap a copy of OSX on it,(hackintosh)
